former future beer and cookie pairing: event.

it's no secret that i love former future. i may be a bit biased since my friends are the owners, but even if they weren't i'm fairly certain i would still have a special place in my heart for this place. their beer is always delicious, and any spot that includes an airplane wing in the decor is a place i want to be. oh, and they always think up great events.

this past wednesday, they had their first annual beer and cookie pairing event and invited me to take some photos of the fun. the place was packed and there were even a good assortment of ugly christmas sweaters to go around.

another successful event in the books my friends.

enjoy my recap of the goodness.

the buhls: family.

my friend becki is pretty amazing. she works as a nurse and has made it her personal mission to recruit all her fellow nurses to contact me to take their family photos. enter the buhls. they were the most recent family i met this past weekend, and i'm so very glad i did.

the weather was perfect on saturday afternoon, and stephanie picked an ideal location: the trails around the national center for atmospheric research in boulder.

little noah was absolutely adorable, and the love the whole family shares for each other was evident. it was great to have his grandparents there as well.

i really love all the photos from this session. enjoy!

the tuckers: family.

i met dana many moons ago during my first teaching gig in denver, so it was fun to reconnect this past weekend at 17 mile park where we took her family photos.

i think it's pretty clear, but they have a gorgeous family, and little avery is just too much. his matching hat with his dad practically threw me over the edge. so adorable. and with this great setting, we really couldn't go wrong.

enjoy some of my favorites, although it was hard to pick!

the westbrooks: family

i first met the westbrook family last year when i took their family photos downtown at the oxford hotel. this year the weather decided to play nice, so we spent the afternoon at cherry creek state park. it's fun to get to photograph a family more than once and see how they change. this year is especially exciting as heidi is expecting a new baby in a few months!

our time together was split between chasing little guy graham around and reminding the older ones not to put goose poop on each other:) there is never a dull moment when teenagers are involved!

we finished our session with a beautiful sunset and the firefighters who were doing some training by the water honked at us as they drove away. everyone loved it, but especially graham.

enjoy some of my favorites from our time together.
