Maternity

the giles: maternity.

I've known Brandon and Stephanie for the past few years and am so excited for them as they welcome there first baby in just about a month. They are passionate, motivated, adventurous, make me constantly jealous with their world travels, and will be the very best parents to this little baby on the way. Everyone who knows and loves them could not be more excited.

Our first session got called due to a fair amount of torrential rain, so I was thrilled that round two provided us with clear skies and golden sun. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening.

Thank you Brandon and Steffany for choosing me to document this sacred, special, joyous, nerve wracking time. You will have your fair share of highs and lows, but no matter what, you have everything you need to parent this new baby with grace and love. You've got this.

the bonds: maternity.

I've had the pleasure of teaching with Mallory for the last four years, getting to know her as she married Greg, watching her become a mom for the first time, and now seeing her prepare to welcome her second daughter in April. What an eventful four years for the Bond family!

Two years ago they asked me to take maternity photos when she was pregnant with Emmy, and I was more than happy to document their joy this time as well.

We headed out to Roxborough National Park on an slightly frigid day to document their growing family, and they were definitely troopers. Emmy wasn't quite convinced that family photos were a good idea, but Mallory and Greg pulled out all their tips and tricks to get her to laugh and smile.

Thank you Bond family for letting me be a small part of your journey as a family. Thank you for braving the cold with me, and convincing me once again that this little lady is so lucky to be joining your family.

the grays: maternity.

I have to start off by saying, I have never laughed as hard while taking photos as I did during this maternity session with Colin and Tory. These two are just awesome. And hilarious. And have some pretty great poses up their sleeves.

We spent the afternoon together at the Denver Botanic Gardens, which is just such a beautiful backdrop, and chatted and laughed a lot as we explored the gardens on such a perfect fall day.

Although the highlight definitely came at the end, when I gave Colin full reign over the poses. You can see some of his work at the end of the photos, including the levitating grumpy cat, which is my personal favorite.

Thank you Colin and Tory for choosing me to document such a special time in your lives. Baby Gray is so lucky to have both of you as parents, and I know that he or she will never lack in the love or laughter department.

mallory and greg: maternity.

mallory and her husband greg are about to welcome their first baby into the bond family in only a couple of weeks, and i was honored to capture such a special time in their lives last wednesday evening in golden.

mallory and i work together and have spent many hours over the past few years running along the streets and paths of denver. i have loved my time getting to know her better, and i can only hope her baby girl has as much life, dedication, spunk, and joy as her mom!

greg and mallory were so fun and easy to photograph, and i think their love for each other {and their pup maggie} shines through in their photos.

enjoy a few favorites from our time together.
