the walkers: family.

The Walkers are some of my person heroes. Three boys under three is no small feat, but they are doing such an amazing job.

The last time I photographed them, the twins were sitting up and now they are on the move and walking everywhere their little feet will take them. Crawford is a great big brother, and they all loved playing in the dirt, exploring through the trees, and a little promise of ice cream if they were good for the photos. 

Jessi and Jonathan love their boys and are such amazing parents, and it was a joy to spend an afternoon with them. 

the heyds: newborn and family.

I love this family. This is the third time I've had the pleasure of photographing them, and each time I leave feeling so thankful for people like the Heyds who invite me into their lives at such important moments. 

Carrie, Will, Maebel, and Moose just welcomed baby Oliver into the family a couple of weeks ago, and he is absolutely perfect. His mohawk is really just the cherry on top of it all. And Maebel is already the best big sister. She loved holding her brother and smiling (especially when gummy treats were involved:) Carrie and Will are navigating life as a family of 4 with grace and kindness (and a lot of coffee, I'm sure:) 

Thank you Heyds for letting me come to your home and document such a wonderful time in your lives. Maebel and Oliver will never know a day without love, and that is the most important thing of all. 

the kalouseks: family.

From the first time I talked to Adriana over the phone, I knew she was someone I would love working with. She is friendly and kind, and her family was no exception. I loved spending time with all of them a couple weeks ago.

The weather wasn't exactly in our favor, as the wind decided to up the intensity during our session, but they smiled their way through it, and I think the end result was worth it.

Thank you Kalouseks for choosing me to photograph your beautiful family and capture your little guys first birthday. It was so wonderful to meet you all, and I hope you cherish these photos for many years to come.

the tuckers: newborn and family.

I've known Dana ever since I started my first teaching job in Denver almost 9 years ago, and this is the third time I've had the privledge of photographing her beautiful family. The Tuckers just welcomed baby Leon right before Christmas, and his big brother Avery couldn't have been more excited. The whole family is full of so much love and joy in welcoming this little guy.

I went over to their home on New Year's Eve to meet Leon. He was a perfect little model. He slept most of the time and somehow even gave us a few smiles. What a dream! 

Thank you Tucker family for inviting me back into your lives for the third time. It is an honor and privledge that I don't take lightly. Leon is a beatiful baby boy, and I know he will never know a day without love. That is surely something to smile about.
