baby benjamin: newborn.

i first met jen and dan at church and have gotten to know jen through our monthly book club meetings, so i was so excited to take photos of their first baby, little benjamin!

i don't know if i've ever had so much fun at a photo session. there was a lot of laughter, especially when dan released their chickens, we stuck ben in a wheelbarrow, and decided to finish it off with the classic "simba pose."

benjamin was a trooper and slept through all our crazy poses and locations we put him through. he is such a precious little guy and blessed with an incredible family. i can't wait to watch him grow!

enjoy some of my favorites from our afternoon together.

the gossetts: family.

i first met bob and jamie through my brother-in-law, aaron, who also just happens to be bob's very best friend.

their son, brady, just turned two last sunday, so it was fitting to take some family photos in the park last week to celebrate. we traipsed through the high grass of the park in the hot sun, as brady explored to his hearts' content and kept asking for his dad to throw him up in the air just one more time.

it was an adventurous morning.

they are such a beautiful and fun family. enjoy some of my favorites from our time together.

danielle and thomas: maternity.

i first met danielle and thomas when we started attending the same church a few years ago. they are always so great to spend time with, so they were a perfect couple to photograph.

the elliotts are expecting their first baby in july, and i was honored to capture them together (with their first "baby" papaya) last weekend at the denver botanical gardens and chessman park.

baby peanut is lucky to have such amazing parents.

dean and callie: engagement.

it was so great to meet dean, callie, and their adorable pup xena last sunday afternoon. as a dog lover myself, i loved the chance to photograph them with the third member of their family. at one point, i was photographing the two of them, while holding xena's leash and getting smothered in dog kisses. it was the best.

we started in city park and made our way to downtown right before sunset. i loved the chance to meet the two of them, and i know they are going to have a beautiful wedding and life together!
